Game Summary

The Generals started out the game like many Blue Division games in the past by scoring 5 goals in the first 10 minutes. There was a difference however, they were playing in the White Division and Clay did not fold its tent and ride the game out. After scoring an assist on Clay's first goal in the 1st period, Senior Captain Eric McGill changed into goalie equipment between the first and second periods and proceeded to stop 30 of 33 shots in the last two periods. AW went on to a 9 to 5 win with the Eagles connecting on 5 of their 27 shots to make the game look closer than the score indicates. The win put the Generals in first place in the White Division, but looking over their shoulder at four time defending champion Bedford whom they host at Tam O"Shanter 9:00 PM Friday December 11th.
