| Game Summary |
| Danny Lopez's goal with 6:24 remaining in the third period broke up a closely played tie game and led to two more Yellow Jackets' goals late in the third period. In all Lopez had 1 goal and 2 assists, Jared Keever chipped in with 2 goals and Matt White had a goal and an assist. Perrysburg was playing without 2 of their key Defenseman, but the nine remaining skaters played well enough to defeat the Generals. Zach Ulrich gave AW an early lead when he intercepted a pass at his own Blue Line and scored a solo break away goal just 3:36 into the game. The Generals return to NHC Blue Division play on Friday January 2nd at 7:30 PM in Rink II at Tom O'Shanter against Lake. The Flyers and Generals share 2 and 1 records chasing Fremont Ross for the Division Championship. |
