| The Power Players has 6 committees each of which have very important roles to support AW Generals Hockey. These committees' responsibilities are outlined in the bylaws and briefly described below. Please call Mike Bogdanat 419-878-6223 if you are interested. |
Marketing Committee: Responsible for the marketing of all activities of AW Hockey including but not limited to: assist with marketing all hockey activities (tournaments, golf outing, etc.); organize table at community festivals (Roche de Boef in Waterville, etc.); get players involved with community work; media relations - notify local newspapers of all events, notify BCSN of game schedule and provide current team roster; oversee hockey pep squad.

Fundraising Committee: Responsible for planning and executing all Power Players fundraising events. In addition, the Fundraising Committee is responsible for obtaining sponsorship for the AW Hockey Program.

Golf Outing Committee: Responsible for planning and organizing the AW Annual Golf Outing. Such duties shall include reserving date with golf course, organizing volunteers, purchasing or obtaining prizes, securing sponsors, organizing golfers, etc.

Tournament Committee: Responsible for planning and organizing tournaments, including but not limited to the AW Hockey Classic (MLK Tournament) and New Year’s Holiday Tournament (vs. Maumee in BG). Such duties shall include preparing tournament schedule, obtain sponsorship, purchase trophies, prepare tournament program, etc.

Apparel Committee: Responsible for purchasing apparel/accessories for the “Generals Store”.

Volunteering Committee: Responsible for organizing all volunteers of AW Hockey.
